Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to serve as the primary relationship manager for our ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, delivering a family-office style experience that integrates advanced tax planning, wealth strategies, and business advisory services. This role demands a seasoned professional with exceptional expertise in remote work, a proven ability to manage and update dashboards and spreadsheets with precision, and a Type A, meticulous attention to detail that borders on obsessive. The Account Manager will act as the central point of contact, coordinating complex client portfolios and ensuring flawless execution across multiple stakeholders while providing concierge-level service.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison for UHNW clients, proactively managing relationships and anticipating needs with a client-first mindset.
  • Deliver a concierge-level experience, ensuring confidentiality, discretion, and unparalleled service excellence.
  • Translate intricate tax and business strategies into clear, actionable recommendations for clients with seven- and eight-figure portfolios.

Strategic Project Management

  • Oversee the planning and execution of sophisticated tax planning, estate planning, and business structuring initiatives.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with CPAs, tax planners, attorneys, financial advisors, and other specialists to implement strategies.
  • Ensure all deliverables, filings, and compliance deadlines are met with precision and timeliness.

Operational Oversight

  • Manage client accounts as complex, multi-faceted projects, leveraging dashboards and spreadsheets to track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues with unwavering accuracy.
  • Update and maintain real-time dashboards and spreadsheets to provide clear, actionable insights for clients and leadership.
  • Develop and refine SOPs and internal workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Maintain meticulous client records and reporting systems, ensuring every detail is accurate and up-to-date.

Research & Advisory Support

  • Identify tax-saving opportunities, entity structures, and advanced planning strategies tailored to UHNW clients.
  • Conduct in-depth market, legal, and financial research to support client-specific recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax law, compliance requirements, and business regulations affecting UHNW clients.

QualificationsEducation/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced degree, CPA, JD, CFP, or comparable credential preferred.

Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in wealth management, tax planning, or family office services, with a proven track record serving UHNW clients.
  • Expertise in remote work, with demonstrated success in managing complex projects and communications in a virtual environment.
  • Proven experience overseeing multi-stakeholder initiatives with a focus on precision and flawless execution.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of advanced tax strategies, estate planning, and entity structuring preferred.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with expertise in maintaining and updating dashboards and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) for real-time tracking and reporting.
  • Superior attention to detail, with a Type A, meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy in all deliverables.
  • Outstanding client service, interpersonal, and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial/tax software, CRMs, and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Google Suite, Asana).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive, resourceful mindset.
