Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to manage daily accounting operations, financial record-keeping, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong command over MS Excel, bookkeeping, accounts management, and financial documentation, with the ability to handle payments, reconciliations, and inter-department coordination efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
  • Record day-to-day financial entries and complete the posting process in accounting software.
  • Prepare invoices, journal entries, payment vouchers, and expense reports.
  • Prepare computerized and printed cheques for all companies and record payments accurately.
  • Verify, process, and record payments to suppliers after matching purchase orders, supplier invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, supplier ledger reconciliation, and customer account reconciliation.
  • Maintain petty cash, staff expenses, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, and finance teams to ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Prepare and manage professional email correspondence with vendors, banks, and internal departments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, B.Com, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (FMCG experience preferred).
  • Strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
  • Hands-on experience with bookkeeping and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
