Account Opening & SME / POS Sales Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Sales Executives to join our SME and POS Sales team. The role involves acquiring new SME (Small & Medium Enterprise) clients, promoting Current Account opening, and selling Point of Sale (POS) solutions for partner banks across the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in banking sales, particularly in SME account acquisition and merchant (POS) sales, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business by acquiring SME customers for current account opening and merchant POS setup.
  • Conduct daily visits to potential SME clients, shops, and business owners to present products and services.
  • Collect and verify all KYC and documentation required for account opening and POS installation.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets for both account openings and POS activations.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and regularly update the CRM system or reporting sheet.
  • Ensure all applications are compliant with bank and Central Bank UAE guidelines.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with business clients for cross-selling opportunities.
  • Coordinate with bank relationship managers and processing teams for smooth file processing.
  • Provide post-sales support and assistance to merchants for POS training or transaction issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in SME / POS / Account Opening / Merchant Sales (preferably with UAE banks or DSAs).
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, especially business accounts, POS machines, and merchant services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (Arabic, Hindi, or Malayalam is a plus).
  • Self-motivated with a passion for sales and achieving targets.
  • Must be presentable and confident in client interactions.
  • UAE driving license preferred but not mandatory.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field (preferred).
