Account Representative

Duties and responsibilities

· Provides quotes/estimates for freight shipping to new and existing clients

· Onboards new clients to help them understand the process of shipping, receiving and delivering freight

· Acting as the point of contact if clients have any issues with their shipping needs

· Actively works with the warehouse staff to review and route shipments

Skills and qualifications

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (outlook/excel)

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Able to handle multiple tasks and work independently

· Excellent organization and time management skills

· Ability to work with little supervision and the ability to take initiative

· Strong attention to detail

Working Experience

· Background in sales is a plus

· 3 yrs or more experience in customer service

· Experience in freight forwarding is a plus

· Microsoft Outlook

· Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)

Working conditions

· Office / warehouse environment

Schedule

· Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (must be open to additional hours if needed)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,760.00 - $49,920.00 per year
