  • Social Strategy & Execution: Manage organic social program tactics and campaign deliverables with minimal oversight.
  • Content Creation: Write creative, platform-native copy and develop compelling social materials that require little to no revisions.
  • Shoot Management: Lead the coordination of social-first content shoots, ensuring creative vision translates to high-performing organic assets.
  • Influencer Management: Negotiate contracts, develop creative briefs, and launch client-approved influencer content.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep your finger on the pulse of platform algorithm changes and industry trends to inform social strategy.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Recommend engaging tactics and provide paid social amplification strategies to support organic efforts.
  • Client Relations: Present tactical recommendations and manage client-facing correspondence with high levels of autonomy.
  • Growth & Development: Support new business pitches through research and social tactic development while mentoring junior staff.
  • Budgeting: Maintain an understanding of client budgets and manage the execution of social production budgets.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5-7 years of social media or communications experience in an agency or corporation.
  • Platform Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) and a deep understanding of their unique community behaviors.
  • Strategic & Analytical: A strategic thinker capable of applying data and "known" trends toward measurable social strategies that grow client relationships.
  • Content Specialist: Capable of delivering effective written products, including social scripts, captions, and executive thought-leadership posts.
  • Paid/Organic Integration: Ability to provide strategic recommendations on how paid spend can maximize organic reach and engagement.
  • Client Advisor: Demonstrates an excellent understanding of client businesses and runs effective meetings with high integrity.
  • Influencer Relations: Proven background working with influencers to create content and attend events.
  • Technical Literacy: Knowledge of tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, HootSuite, Sprout and Creator IQ is an asset.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting social strategies and reporting to senior-level clients.
