Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant who not only has strong accounting and finance skills but also understands the use of AI tools in accounting. The ideal candidate should be eager to apply technology for process automation, financial reporting, compliance, and efficiency improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger, payroll, reconciliations).
• Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, audit requirements, and financial regulations.
• Use AI-powered tools to streamline tasks such as:
• Invoice processing & expense management.
• Automated bank reconciliation.
• Financial data analysis and forecasting.
• Collaborate with management to optimize financial planning and budgeting.
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all financial activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/CA Inter preferred).
• 2+ years of accounting experience (IT/tech industry experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations in Pakistan.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, or similar).
• Knowledge of AI in accounting and willingness to adopt tools such as:
• QuickBooks AI, Zoho Books AI, Xero AI (AI-powered bookkeeping).
• ChatGPT or custom GPTs (for financial analysis & reporting).
• Microsoft Excel with AI features (for smart data analysis).
• OCR tools (for automated invoice data capture).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
