Accountant

Manama, Bahrain

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily communications and respond to queries.
  • Prepare statutory accounts.
  • Ensure payments, amounts, and records are accurate.
  • Work with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals.
  • Record and file cash transactions.
  • Control credit and follow up on outstanding debts.
  • Process and file invoices.
  • Handle expense requests for accountant approval.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers.
  • Update and maintain procedural documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with accounting/invoicing software (especially Odoo).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
