Accountant

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Enter daily financial transactions into the internal system (Bank - Receipt)
  • Check invoices, reconcile and identify discrepancies (Receivable - Payable)
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed (Alternatively)
  • Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
  • Petty Cash handling (Receiving from company - issuing for custodian person - receiving invoices with balance if have over cash)
  • Reconcile Bank accounts
  • Purchase import entries. (Only after logistics and inventory department confirmation).
  • Receiving cash from customers (Alternatively)
  • Provide daily report to management with full-day transactions - Weekly report - Monthly report
  • Assist external auditor during audit time (Provide support documents, Scan - Hard Copy as required)
  • Handling the owner's real estate transactions.
  • Preparing (Report - Financial Statement - Collection) for real estate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge in Keyloop software is a plus.
  • Arabic speaker
