Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Record financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
- Preparing Customer Invoices timely and accurately.
- Follow-up with customer for payment.
- Preparing journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Recording of petty Cash and doing petty cash custody reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in VAT Filing.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Senior Accountant.
The Successful Applicant
- 1-3 years experienced candidate preferred.
- The candidate must be available in Bahrain.
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with accounting software (preferably Zoho/Odoo).
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlook ups and pivot tables
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
- Proficiency in English (oral and written) is mandatory
