Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Record financial transactions in the accounting system accurately and timely.
  • Preparing Customer Invoices timely and accurately.
  • Follow-up with customer for payment.
  • Preparing journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Recording of petty Cash and doing petty cash custody reconciliation.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in VAT Filing.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Senior Accountant.

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-3 years experienced candidate preferred.
  • The candidate must be available in Bahrain.
  • Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience with accounting software (preferably Zoho/Odoo).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlook ups and pivot tables
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written) is mandatory
