Role Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records and day-to-day accounting activities. The Accountant will be responsible for handling bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll, and reporting to support the smooth operation of multi-million dollar EPC and engineering projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagercoil.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.

· Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory tax returns in compliance with Indian regulations.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and client payments.

· Process payroll and ensure timely salary disbursements.

· Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Monitor project-related expenses and coordinate with project teams for cost tracking.

· Support financial audits by providing required documentation and information.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

· Assist the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

· Maintain proper documentation and records for all accounting activities.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA Inter or CMA preferred).

· 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in EPC or engineering project-based companies.

· Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.

· Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
