Accountant

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

  • **Seeking candidates with experience in UAE accounts only**
  • Establish, maintain and reconcile full set of accounts
  • Prepare monthly P&L, income statements and balance sheets
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain cash controls
  • Must be knowledgeble in using cloud accounting softwares like ZOHO, Quickbooks, Peachtree.
  • Ensure transactions are processed and properly recorded
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements
  • Process and record monthly invoices
  • Prepare monthly payments
  • Maintain proper accounting record and filing
  • Filing of all financial files, records and relevant documents
  • Process monthly payroll
  • Record and track team leave
  • Assist in liaising with external stakeholders e.g. auditors, tax agent, company secretary, etc.
  • Manage office maintenance, servicing and supplies
  • Provide administrative assistance to management
  • Propose and implement suitable financial policies and procedures as and when required
  • Propose the crucial financial strategies and budget for successive years to improve the company financial run.

Job requirements

  • Experienced in general account, finance and relevant areas
  • Knowledge in Fedral VAT filing and GSt filing is preferred
  • Resourceful, with a positive and problem-solving attitude
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm
  • Good organizational and coordination skills
  • Responsible, efficient and structured with attention to detail
  • Responsible and Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google office suite, especially Excel and Sheets
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective cross-functional team work
  • A Diploma or Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred
  • Has 2-3 years relevant experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Zoho - accounts assistant: 1 year (Required)

Language:

  • Hindi & English, (Preferred)
