- Prepare and maintain monthly accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure that company records match bank statements.
- Assist in the preparation of the trial balance, verifying accuracy and completeness of ledgers.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel to create and manage complex spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with the finance team to prepare various financial reports and statements.
- Maintain and update accounting records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing monthly accounts and performing bank reconciliations.
- Experience assisting with the creation of a trial balance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
