Job Description – Accountant

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience & skills)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally.
• Record daily accounting entries – sales, purchases, expenses, and payroll.
• Manage accounts receivable & payable, invoicing, and vendor reconciliation.
• Prepare & file GST, TDS, PF/ESI, and other statutory returns.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax assessments.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monthly MIS reporting.
• Ensure timely preparation of bank reconciliation statements.
• Track project-level revenue and costs for IT service/product accounting.
• Support management in preparing financial reports for investors/board meetings.
• Coordinate with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (CA/Inter CA preferred, not mandatory).
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting (IT/technology industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards.
• Hands-on experience with Tally.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills & ability to work with cross-functional teams.
