Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and record journal entries and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Preparation of year-end financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Provide support for audits and internal control reviews.
- Prepare financial forecasts to support management in decision-making.
- Track variances between actual performance and the budget, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations.
- Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow.
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial accounts.
- Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and reconcile financial data
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong social skills for on-call interaction with site team, material vendors, and clients
