Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and record journal entries and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Preparation of year-end financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
• Provide support for audits and internal control reviews.
• Prepare financial forecasts to support management in decision-making.
• Track variances between actual performance and the budget, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow.
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial accounts.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and company policies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and reconcile financial data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong social skills for on-call interaction with site team, material vendors, and clients
