At VPG, we combine heritage craftsmanship with modern luxury to create timeless fine jewelry. As we scale globally, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing team and ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations: Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Tax Compliance: Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory tax returns while ensuring full compliance with Indian tax laws.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain precise and up-to-date ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records to support transparency.
• Payroll Management: Handle payroll processing and maintain employee financial transaction records.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and provide analytical insights for management.
• Audit Coordination: Work closely with auditors to ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Inventory Valuation: Monitor jewelry inventory costing and valuation for accurate financial reporting.
• Bank Liaison: Manage daily banking operations, monitor funds, and coordinate with financial institutions for credit facilities.
• Business Insights: Deliver financial analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making and growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in jewelry, retail, or manufacturing industries.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of Indian tax regulations (GST, TDS).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
