ACCOUNTANT

Manama, Bahrain

We are in need of an ACCOUNTANT with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
  • 3-5 years accounting experience
  • Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software (Tally or e-task) , strong typing skills.
  • Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with basic Accounting principles.
  • Professional manner and strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
  • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.

Job responsibilities as follows:

  • VAT Return Filling and Reconciliation
  • In-charge in accounts receivable and payables.
  • Accounting cash sales and credit sales
  • Preparing monthly journal report on company expenses
  • In charge for preparing cheque and supplier payments for imports
  • Handling collection and bank transactions
  • In-charge in product costing
  • Maintaining accounts, databases, and daily billings in order and up to date
  • Preparing profit and loss statement and monthly cash flow statemen
  • Bank and cash reconciliation
  • Claims and follow ups for collection of debit and credit note for supplier
  • Preparing aging outstanding statement
  • Handling petty cash
  • Coordinate with statutory auditors for timely completion of audit
  • Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Handling communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From BD500.000 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
