Job Title: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

Location: New Delhi

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Lead end-to-end accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, ledgers, and MIS.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Manage and optimise Zoho Books / Tally / ERP systems.
• Audit & Compliance
• Prepare and maintain all statutory data for GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC filings.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits with external consultants.
• Ensure 100% adherence to compliance requirements and regulatory deadlines.
• Vendor & Client Management
• Oversee vendor payments, reconciliations, and expense management with transparency.
• Supervise client billing, invoice generation, receivables tracking, and payment follow-ups.
• Expense & Payment Processing
• Authorise and oversee payments for all expenses after thorough verification.
• Strengthen internal controls and streamline financial processes.
• Reporting & MIS
• Prepare MIS, financial statements, and management dashboards.
• Monitor and report on cash flows, receivables, payables, and financial health.
• Strategic Finance
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections aligned with business goals.
• Maintain investor-ready financial models, decks, and dashboards.
• Set up internal financial controls, SOPs, and reporting systems.
• Track burn rate, working capital, margins, and unit economics to support decision-making.
• Leadership & Process Improvements
• Supervise junior accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and growth.
• Mentor and guide the finance team while building efficient systems.
• Partner with leadership to drive financial planning and growth initiatives.
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance or equivalent).
• 710 years of experience in accounting, compliance, and finance, with exposure to strategic finance and FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and compliance workflows.
• Expertise in Zoho Books, Tally, Excel, Google Sheets, and MIS/BI tools.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and investor reporting.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
