Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our retail jewellery business in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance in jewellery industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
• Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile with POS/ERP systems
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-ups and clearances
• Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management
• Monitor inventory and assist with stock reconciliations
• Handle VAT computations and filings as per UAE regulations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS for management review

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance in jewellery sector
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Suntech, Wingold Next, Tally)
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a retail jewellery environment is a must
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control
• Familiarity with UAE banking systems and local regulatory requirements

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
