Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, performing reconciliations, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support audits, both internal and external
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (typically 3+ years)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD400.000 - KD700.000 per month
