Position: Accountant
Location: Phoenix World School, Pune
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 (based on experience & performance)

Job Description:

Phoenix World School is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth financial operations of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily financial records including receipts, payments, and invoices.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with taxation and other financial regulations.
• Handle payroll processing for staff.
• Coordinate with management for financial reports and audits.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years experience in accounting, preferably in education sector.
• Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, Busy, or similar) and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
