Accountant

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose:

To manage and execute accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank transactions, and financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Payable:
  • Post Vendor invoices interface, Vendor invoices MIRO
  • Prepare vendors payment report based on payment terms
  • Reconciliation for vendor’s account
  • SEU Account (main Supplier) SOA adjustment, Invoices, Payments, Clearing and Aging


  • Account Receivable:
  • Tracking Outstanding Payments
  • Payment Reconciliation
  • Verification of Credit Notes
  • Customer Aging Report


  • General Ledger:
  • Salary Posting
  • Accrual (freight – end of service – bonus- tax –-annual leave - not received invoice)
  • Prepayment (medical insurance –allowances – storage – other)
  • Monthly Checking for GR/IR Disposal and credit note
  • Fixed Assets capitalization & Depreciation
  • Petty cash posting and controlling
  • Credit card invoices
  • Cost of sale posting
  • Freight allocation
  • Cross Charge invoice for related parties
  • Checking and controlling departments expenses to be within budget throw Genex
  • Bank Payments, posting ingoing, outgoing and clearing
  • Issuing, Monitoring, Renewing, Tracking and Reporting Bank Guarantees
  • Controlling Mobile Expense for all employees’ expenses.
  • Posting the monthly Mobile Expense report and post the payment
  • General Task
  • Office suppliers request
  • Creating suppliers- employees in S4hana and MDG
  • Vendor invoice Management user (VIM)
  • Handling VAT, WHT & Deferred tax
  • Provide audit requirements and perform adjustments.


  • Other report:
  • Month Cash Forecast
  • Eco requirement report
  • monthly report to the head of department for the consuming budget
  • Monthly Cash Forecast
  • DSO & DIO preparation
  • E-invoice report


Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting roles

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office

• Knowledge of VAT, WHT, and other tax regulations in KSA

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
