Job Description: Accountant

Position: Accountant
Location: Fujairah, UAE.
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements regularly.
  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
  • Handle data entry and financial reporting using Microsoft Excel.
  • Operate efficiently on ERP systems for accounting and reporting purposes.
  • Must assist finance manager with the financial statements.
  • Must know how to prepare cheques and handle expense tracking, petty cash management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com), or Business Administration (BBA).
  • Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of UAE VAT laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi.
