Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Sharjah for an Accountant. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial operations, including preparing and maintaining financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports.

Qualifications

Very good in MS Excel

Good in English

Ready to joining immediately ( Mandatory )

Preferred in accounting software Odoo

Minimum 03 years of UAE experience is mandatory

Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience in the Furniture industry is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Performs financial and accounting activities under the guidance of Chief Accountant including monthly closing of the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll processing, cash management etc. in line with developed policies and procedures.

Calculates depreciation of fixed assets and create fixed assets depreciation report for review by management.

Carries out posting activities for transactions related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and chart of accounts etc.

Reviews the vendor invoices against PO / contract / supporting documents and book the entries in the system.

Generates payroll sheet, creates payable voucher, processes payroll, issues salary slip for employees, and carries out similar activities for processing vacation settlement.

Ensures that all transactions within accounting function are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
