Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts
Experience: 5–10 Years (Minimum 2 years UAE experience)
Industry: Real Estate / Property Development

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with IFRS and UAE laws.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Monitor project-related costs and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
• Handle VAT computations and timely filing of returns in compliance with FTA guidelines.
• Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits and internal compliance checks.
• Manage and track escrow accounts in line with RERA/DLD regulations.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for projects.
• Support procurement and contracts teams with financial verification and documentation.
• Liaise with banks for payments, guarantees, and facility management.
• Ensure internal controls are followed across all financial processes.
• Exposure of accounting software like tally.
