Position: Accountant – Rawmatco Trading LLC (Dubai, UAE)

Salary Range: AED 7,000 to 10,000 per month (depending on working hours)
Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid (Flexible hours available)

Rawmatco Trading LLC is a Dubai-based commodity trading company specializing in iron ore, pellets, and other metal raw materials, bridging industrial producers and buyers across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. The company manages complex FOB and CFR trade structures, involving pre-payments, letters of credit, performance guarantees, and escrow mechanisms, while maintaining transparent financial operations aligned with UAE and international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transaction recording.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, supplier settlements, and trade-related payments (LCs, BGs, APGs, etc.).
• Maintain accurate cost and pricing records for each shipment and trade contract (FOB/CFR).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual account reports.
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and local financial regulations.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, logistics teams, and corporate headquarters for reconciliations and reporting.
• Assist in system integration with QuickBooks and digital documentation of trade flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably within commodity trading, logistics, or metal industries.
• Sound knowledge of trade accounting, inventory costing, and international payment mechanisms.
• Strong command of IFRS, UAE VAT, and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple contracts simultaneously, and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
