Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Accounting professional with strong experience in the Real Estate industry to oversee all financial and accounting activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, managing financial reporting and analysis

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash management, payroll, and tax compliance
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Good knowledge of how to operate escrow accounts and claim from RERA
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analysis
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and prepare VAT, TDS, and other statutory filings.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including tax laws and reporting requirements
• Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures to improve financial performance and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and other real estate statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Background in the Real Estate industry
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CA/CPA/ACCA preferred)
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial analysis, and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and patterns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software (Tally)
