Job description:
Experience Required: 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, and bookkeeping, preferably within construction, infrastructure, or corporate sectors.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to support the company’s daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate records, prepare financial reports, monitor accounts, and ensure compliance with financial standards.
Key Responsibilities & Expertise:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and periodic financial reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Bookkeeping & Account Management: Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices and payments, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, and monitor financial performance against plans.
- Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to local regulations and accounting standards. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Accounting Systems & ERP: Work with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally, or Odoo (preferred). Optimize financial processes and generate accurate reports.
- Problem Solving & Initiative: Identify financial discrepancies, propose solutions, and support financial decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, management, and other departments regarding financial operations and procurement.
- Confidentiality & Ethics: Handle financial data and documents with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Adaptability & Multitasking: Manage multiple accounting tasks accurately in a dynamic work environment.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field – mandatory
- Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) – preferred
- Bilingual (English & Arabic) – preferred
