Job Summary:
The Accountant in the MEP construction/engineering field plays a critical role in managing financial operations. This includes handling project costing, budget tracking, accounts reconciliation, and assisting in financial reporting specific to construction and engineering contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management, General Ledger and Reporting, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Budgeting and Forecasting, Tax Compliance, Payroll and Timesheet Management, Auditing and Process Compliance, Collaboration with Project Teams

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project costing and construction-specific accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting and project management software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, tally or similar).
