Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with strong expertise in taxation and financial management. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a taxation firm and possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle tax matters including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax calculations and filings.
• Assist in tax planning, audits, and correspondence with regulatory authorities (FBR/SRB).
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures.
• Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Requirements:

• Education: ACCA / CA (Qualified or Finalist)
• Experience: 4–5 years of experience in a taxation firm or accounting practice.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of taxation laws (Income Tax, Sales Tax, SRB/FBR regulations).
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP, or similar).
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
