Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Accountant with UAE experience and proficiency in Focus Software to join our finance team.

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the company's financial health. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of UAE accounting standards and hands-on experience with Focus Software.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other legal requirements
• Assist in month end and year end closing processes
• Use Focus Software for data entry, reporting, and financial analysis
• Liaise with auditors, clients, and vendors as needed
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Proficiency in Focus Software is essential
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in the construction or contracting industry is a plus
