Accountant

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant (Female) to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate books of accounts, and ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally and Zoho Books, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily accounting transactions using Tally ERP and Zoho Books.
• Prepare and maintain general ledgers, journal entries, and reconciliation statements.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and vendor payments.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors for yearly audits and financial reviews.
• Track and manage company expenses, petty cash, and reimbursements.
• Ensure accurate and timely closing of books of accounts.
• Support management with financial data, analysis, and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred only classroom).
• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime and Zoho Books (mandatory).
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation system.
• Excellent command of Excel and MS Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working with SMEs or service-based organizations.
• Familiarity with Zoho ecosystem (Zoho CRM, Zoho Expense, etc.) will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and team collaboration.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (negotiable as per skills and experience).
