  • Key Responsibilities
  • Record and post daily banking entries into the accounting system.
  • Process and post supplier invoices, bills, and expense claims.
  • Prepare and perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable management.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and audit readiness.
  • Assist in preparing VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE taxation laws.
  • Prepare routine financial reports as required by management.
  • Support the finance team in any ad hoc accounting duties.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, providing a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to professional development.
  • Has 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, showcasing practical application of accounting knowledge.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books enhancing efficiency in financial tasks.
