Job Profile: Accountant
#### Role Overview
The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial operations. This position requires a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoicing processes, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This role demands proficiency in accounting software and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
#### Key Responsibilities
- **Financial Record Maintenance**: Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances.
- **Invoicing and Documentation**: Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and financial statements to support strategic decision-making.
- **Tax Compliance**: Oversee GST and TDS filings, ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements.
- **Reconciliation**: Perform regular bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- **Audit Support**: Assist in the preparation and execution of statutory and internal audits.
- **Vendor Management**: Manage vendor accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies.
- **SAP Utilization**: Utilize SAP (FI Module preferred) for daily financial operations, including posting and reconciliation tasks.
#### Qualifications
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations within a fast-paced organization.
- **Software Proficiency**: Strong working knowledge and practical experience with SAP (FI Module preferred), Tally/ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- **Accounting Principles**: Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
