Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting overall financial operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and general bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and daily financial records.
• Perform bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and maintain billing, invoices, and financial statements.
• Handle branch accounting and inter-branch transactions accurately.
• Ensure customer accounts are updated and manage customer queries related to payments.
• Generate financial reports and assist management in financial decision-making.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
• Perform general accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements / Skills:

• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks etc.)
• Knowledge of bookkeeping, billing, and bank reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance role preferred.
