The Role
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in financial management and operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (BCom), and a proficiency in modern accounting software—specifically Zoho Books. You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization, managing day-to-day transactions, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations:
Manage daily accounting tasks including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) entries.

Zoho Management:
Utilize Zoho Books to record transactions, generate invoices, and track expenses efficiently.

Reconciliations:
Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations, coordinating with property management teams to verify rent cheques, security deposits, and commission payments.

Reporting:
Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets for management review.

Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including the preparation and filing of VAT returns.

Data Integrity:
Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records, ensuring all documentation is audit-ready.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the property management and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies and streamline financial workflows.
Requirements

Education:
Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance is
mandatory
.

Experience:
Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in an accounting role. (Experience in Real Estate or Property Management is a significant plus).

Technical Skills:
* Strong preference for candidates with
Zoho Books/Zoho Finance
experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and Office Suite.

Knowledge:
Solid understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT laws.

Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Professional proficiency in English (verbal and written).
