About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This role requires strong analytical skills, precision, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records.
• Prepare and issue invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Create, organize, and maintain general ledgers.
• Prepare Profit & Loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
• Manage financial data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
• Perform internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Oversee cash flow management.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage
• Proven experience in accounting or similar role
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
