Accountant

EZ MD Solutions is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online, U.S. GAAP, and healthcare accounting. This role involves managing financial operations specific to medical billing, including revenue tracking, reconciliations, and financial reporting for healthcare clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and accounting records using QuickBooks Online
• Record and track revenues from medical billing, insurance reimbursements, Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers
• Perform bank, payment processor, and client remittance reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) related to billing cycles
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor payments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (U.S. GAAP)
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with U.S. and Pakistani tax regulations
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis
• File FBR withholding tax statements (monthly & annual)
• Manage EOBI and Social Security compliance
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Coordinate with medical billing and RCM teams
• Prepare management and ad-hoc financial reports

Qualifications & Requirements

• AFA–ICMAP certification (Required)
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (healthcare or medical billing experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and U.S. Taxation
• Working knowledge of Pakistani taxation and statutory compliance
• Familiarity with medical billing workflows, insurance reimbursements, and revenue cycle management
• Experience with payroll processing, tax filings, and account reconciliations
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month

• Rawalpindi Satellite Town: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
