Job Summary
The
Accountant
is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
This role supports daily accounting operations, reconciliations, financial reporting, and assists with budgeting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
Financial & Record-Keeping

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system (general ledger, journals, ledgers).

Prepare and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely entries and clear documentation.

Maintain bank reconciliations and ensure financial records are accurate.
Reporting & Analysis

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Compliance & Tax

Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP) and internal policies.

Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing and payments as required.

Maintain documentation for internal and external audits and assist auditors as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:

Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Previous experience as an Accountant in F&B industry is a must.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
