Accountant

Job Title: AccountantJob Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions for 2–3 different business verticals, including Manufacturing and Transport Contract operations. The role requires strong expertise in GST, TDS/TCS compliance, along with hands-on experience in Branch Accounting and Cost Centre Accounting. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete books of accounts for Manufacturing and Transport Contract businesses
• Handle branch-wise accounting, including reconciliation and reporting
• Manage cost centre accounting and track expenses and profitability
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, etc.)
• Handle TDS/TCS deductions, payments, and return filings
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timelines
• Perform day-to-day accounting, including entries, vouchers, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Coordinate with internal teams and consultants for audits and compliance
• Prepare periodic financial reports and MIS as required by management

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS/TCS compliance and filings
• Experience in Branch Accounting and Cost Centre Accounting
• Prior experience handling accounts for Manufacturing and/or Transport Contract businesses
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally or similar) and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
