Job Title: Accountant

Job Purpose:
To manage the company’s financial transactions and ensure accurate reporting of financial data. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transactions:

• Record and monitor all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain general ledgers and prepare journal entries.

2. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to ensure financial stability and control.
• Monitor variances between actual and budgeted expenditures.

4. Taxation and Compliance:

• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.

5. Auditing and Reconciliation:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and information.

6. Cash Flow Management:

• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.

7. Systems and Processes:

• Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate records and streamline processes.
• Recommend improvements in financial systems and internal controls.

8. Communication and Liaison:

• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and vendors.
• Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
• Minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs40,000.00 per month
