Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to contribute to the financial success of Craft Interactive Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, and it would be advantageous if they have knowledge of ERPNext. Candidates with CA internship experience or a background in Management Information Systems (MIS) will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

Financial Recordkeeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using ERPNext software.
• Process day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Month-End Close:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.

ERPNext Integration:

• Leverage knowledge of ERPNext to streamline accounting processes and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance ERPNext functionalities related to finance.

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation for audits and work closely with auditors.

Financial Analysis:

• Provide financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and process payroll accurately.
• Perform year-end account closure, trial balance, reconciliations, and general accounting tasks.
• Independently manage clients across various industries, preferably with prior audit experience.
• Assist in process improvements and implement best practices in accounting.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields; CA Inter or Master’s degree preferred.
• Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are an advantage.
• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in similar industries.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial records and reporting.
