Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the catering industry . Immediate joiners will be given first preference. The candidate must be locally available in Qatar and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills for daily financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
• Prepare financial reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel
• Handle catering-specific cost control (food cost, labor cost, wastage, overheads)
• Perform inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
• Monitor supplier invoices, payments, and receivables
• Ensure compliance with Qatar VAT and financial regulations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Coordinate with operations and procurement teams
• Assist with audits and management reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience , mandatory catering industry experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems
• Knowledge of Qatar VAT and statutory compliance
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa
