Accountant

Job Summary:

Jascon Engineering W.L.L. is seeking a motivated and results-driven Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (construction/engineering industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Qatar or GCC region.
• Knowledge of VAT and local compliance requirements.
