Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant responsible for maintaining accurate financial records through daily accounting entries in the system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily expense entries accurately in the accounting system
- Generate customer invoices and ensure timely and correct billing
- Enter and adjust customer collections/payments against outstanding invoices and follow-up for the outstanding invoices
- Perform bank reconciliations on a regular basis to ensure accuracy between bank statements and system records
- Maintain and record petty cash expenses, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation
- Verify accounting entries and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance Maintain organized accounting records and files
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and follow up on pending entries
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in basic accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role (preferred)
