Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role includes preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, monitoring transactions, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting processes. The Accountant works closely with management to provide financial insights and ensure effective financial control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting-related tasks in the accounting software.
• Prepare and submit VAT reports in compliance with ZATCA requirements.
• Ensure full compliance with ZATCA tax regulations and requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
• Support audits and respond to ZATCA inquiries when required.
• Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing.
• Follow up on customer collections to ensure timely receipt of payments and maintain the company’s liquidity.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Procurement and Sales, to ensure the accuracy of financial data and its alignment with operational activities.
• articipate in developing and improving internal financial procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial laws and regulations in all financial operations
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with Colors Company policies and internal procedures

Job Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in VAT compliance, reporting, and documentation
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of ZATCA regulations and requirements
•  Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience
