Accountant

The accounting professional will be responsible for keeping a record of all financial transactions performed in the company. He/She will be responsible for assisting the process of the financial activities of the company, recording financial information, communicating with customers and suppliers, as well as performing other accounting operations. Also will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting. He/She will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.



Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions such as keeping all kinds of legal books & debit-credit records of the company, preparing the necessary account statements and entering the records into the ERP
  • Check the compliance of invoices, receipts, ledgers and purchase orders with legal regulations
  • Prepare profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, monthly financial statements in time
  • Prepare period-end closings (monthly, quarterly and annual closings)
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivables
  • Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely payments are done
  • Control over AR and optimize DSO levels
  • Ensure timely preparations of bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Ensure all financial transactions and documents are complying with internal audit processes
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality
  • Comply with HQ financial policies and regulations
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Comply with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Assist to preparations of forecasts & budget cycles
  • Coordinate with outside tax consultants


Requirements and skills

  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & IFRS
  • Knowledge of E-Invoice, E-archive, E-ledger
  • Preferably having Big4 or outsourcing accounting experience
  • Experience with Logo (SAP is a plus)
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (especially Excel)
  • Problem solver, system oriented, strong analytical skills and strong attention to details
  • Good command of English both spoken and written
  • Process oriented mindset: defining end-to-end processes, process optimization
  • Ability to manage flexible workload
  • Excellent written, oral and communication skills to work with management and cross-functional groups
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
