Job Description – Accountant

· The accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations

· The role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations, assisting with budgeting, and supporting management in financial decision-making.

· Prepare and analyse financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

· Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, and expense claims.

· Monitor and improve accounting processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and local regulations.

· Office-based role, may require coordination with auditors, vendors, and management.

· Responsible for managing, verifying, recording, and ensuring timely payment of all utility bills (electricity, water, telephone, internet, and other services).

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience Required Proven experience in accounting or finance roles (typically 3+ years).
