Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in contracting companies. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of project-based accounting, cost control, and financial reporting within the construction sector.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in project costing, WIP reports, and financial reconciliations
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and other local compliance requirements
• ERP or accounting software proficiency (e.g., Tally)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Monitor and control project expenses and prepare cost reports
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with local laws
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
