Role Overview

Scaleup Connect is hiring an Accountant for one of its clients based in Karachi (North Nazimabad No. 2). The role is responsible for maintaining accurate daily financial records, handling External Inward Payments (EIP) and Online Bank Booking / Online Bank Outward (OBB/OBO) documentation, supporting month-end closing activities, and ensuring proper financial reporting and compliance. The position requires strong attention to detail, hands-on accounting experience, and disciplined record management.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries and up-to-date financial records
• Handle EIP and OBB/OBO documentation, processing, and record maintenance
• Manage invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment records
• Prepare basic financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules
• Maintain bank statements and perform regular bank reconciliations
• Support month-end and periodic closing activities
• Assist in tax-related documentation and compliance, when required
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and retrieval of financial records
• Coordinate with internal teams for accurate financial information

Mandatory Skills & Competencies

• Practical knowledge of EIP and OBB/OBO procedures (minimum 1 year)
• Experience using accounting software and MS Excel
• Strong ability to manage and organize financial records professionally
• Good communication and coordination skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience

Preferred Industry Background

• Prior hands-on experience with EIP and OBB/OBO procedures

Compensation

• Base Salary: PKR 45,000 – 55,000
