Job Title: Accountant

Role Objective

To manage all financial records, billing, GST compliance, receivables, and payment tracking with accuracy and integrity, ensuring clean books and strong cash discipline.

Key Responsibilities1️ Billing & Invoicing

• Prepare tax invoices for confirmed orders
• Ensure correct GST application
• Maintain invoice records systematically
• Share invoices with admin / customer as required

2️ Accounts Receivable (Collections Tracking)

• Maintain daily receivables tracker
• Share overdue list with admin for follow-up
• Record payments received (cash / bank / UPI / cheque)
• Reconcile customer accounts regularly

3️ Vendor Payments

• Maintain vendor payment schedule
• Coordinate with Founder for approval before releasing payments
• Record and reconcile vendor accounts

4️ GST & Compliance

• Maintain GST records
• Coordinate with CA for monthly filings
• Ensure proper documentation for audit

5️ Daily Financial Reporting

Submit a short daily financial summary including:

• Sales billed today (₹)
• Payments received (₹)
• Outstanding total (₹)
• Vendor payments due

Role Boundaries (Very Important)

The Accountant will NOT:

• Negotiate vendor rates
• Handle sales discussions
• Sit in showroom for customer handling
• Operate vendor WhatsApp groups
• Make pricing decisions

This role is strictly financial control & compliance.

Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years accounting experience
• Knowledge of GST & Tally / accounting software
• Detail-oriented & process-driven
• Honest, stable, and disciplined
• Comfortable working in a structured family-run business

Preferred:

• Experience in trading / building materials / hardware industry

KPIs (Performance Indicators)

• Zero accounting errors
• Timely GST compliance
• Accurate receivables tracking
• Clean monthly reconciliation
• No cash leakage

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to: Founder / Business Head
Works in coordination with: Admin / Operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
